The workplace chaplaincy ‘Churches And Industry Group Birmingham-Solihull’ (CIGB) will hold its Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 14 June at Solihull United Reformed Church (‘Christ Church’), 741 Warwick Road, Solihull B91 3DG. The speaker will be Dr Justin Varney, Director of Public Health for Birmingham City Council. Justin will bring ‘Reflections on Faith, Public Health and Pandemics.’

CIGB is an ecumenical network of mostly-voluntary chaplains who work across Birmingham and Solihull, offering a listening ear to people working in retail, industry and commerce. Its 60+ chaplaincy venues include Birmingham City Council, Birmingham Airport, Bournville College, King’s Heath Shopping Centre, Solihull Town Centre and West Midlands Fire Service. At the CIGB AGM on 14 June, individually-packaged Covid-secure buffet food will be served from 5.20pm to attendees who have registered in advance. Those who do not register attendance will not be able to eat. The business part of the meeting will start at 6.15pm. The guest speaker will take the floor at around 7.00pm. After a Q+A session, the AGM will close promptly at 8.00pm.

The Car Park for Solihull URC is situated in Union Road, Solihull, B91 3DH. Attendees must park in the spaces marked “CC” only.
