Is Anyone Listening?
The Family Support Centre (based at Shirley Baptist Church) is offering a course for those interested in developing their listening skills.
When is it?
It takes place on four Saturdays from 9:00 – 4:00pm
16th and 30th September
14th October
11th November
Who is it for?
Anyone who would like to develop their listening skills. These can be relevant to your home life, work life or if you are involved in pastoral care. It is an opportunity to develop your own self-awareness.
The course is based on Christian principles but is suitable for those of faith or none.
What happens on the course?
Each week there will be time to learn and think about a different area and discuss or try out activities in small groups of two or three. You will not be asked to do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable. There is a set of comprehensive notes for each week.
How much does it cost?
The cost is £30. Refreshments are provided but you will need to bring your own lunch or buy it at the coffee shop next door. They usually do a special deal with us for course members.
