Compassion UK

In order to further extend its mission to support children around the world, ‘Compassion UK’ is looking to partner with individuals and congregations around the West Midlands. Compassion UK’s West Midlands Partnership Manager James Spencer says, ‘There is no set model as to what a partnership looks like. We work with churches in a variety of ways to complement their own vision for overseas mission. Connection with Compassion UK often sits alongside work with several other mission partners. This is something we would be glad to explore.’

Compassion UK currently supports almost two million children living in extreme poverty in 25 countries. All the frontline developmental work is delivered through 8,000 local churches on the ground. These churches identify the children most in need in their communities and work to release them from poverty, in Jesus’ name. Compassion UK’s church partners have also been at the forefront of its response to the Covid-19 pandemic, dynamically adjusting where necessary and reaching those who have been affected.
