Chaplaincy Plus’s Annual Celebration will take place at Mills and Reeve, Colmore Row, Birmingham, at 5.30pm on Tuesday 10 October.
You are invited to celebrate the last year and look forward to a new season of vision and growth. Information and registration at https://cbn.chaplaincyplus.org.uk/…/autumncelebration2023/.
Come and celebrate with us as we thank God for the past year and look forward to a new season of vision and growth together. Meet old friends and new as we gather to connect and share with each other what God is doing in our lives and our workplace.
We look forward to hearing from our guest speaker, Paul Valler, as he shares his thoughts on living life to the full!
Living life to the full is the offer that Jesus makes in John 10:10, but what are the keys to doing that at work? In today’s sometimes hostile, secular world, how can Christians live at work with a healthy confidence? And in the post-pandemic hybrid working environment, how do we stay relationally connected to our colleagues, and connected to God and each
other?
Paul unpacks how the answer to these questions depends on how we define our identity and faithfully live it out.
Paul is a Mentor, Author and Speaker with a personal mission statement to inspire people to make the right choices. He is Chair of The London Institute for Contemporary Christianity, and a former Finance and Operations Director of Hewlett-Packard Ltd.
Paul led LICC’s launch of Executive Toolbox. He also pioneered a seminar on Integrating Work and Life underpinned by his IVP book Get a Life – Winning Choices for Working People. He wrote Using Measurement Well in the Grove Books Leadership series, and has led the workplace streams at Spring Harvest, New Wine and the Keswick Convention.
Paul is married to Helen. They have two sons, Matt and Dave and are blessed with six
grandchildren.
