Easter resources from the Saltmine Theatre Company

The Saltmine Theatre Company has developed a set of Easter resources for local churches to use. The three videos tell the story of Easter from Good Friday to Resurrection Sunday. The resources can be accessed by making a donation for an individual video, or by purchasing all three as an ‘Easter Bundle.’ The presentations are:

· ‘In The Breaking’ – A monologue from Mary Magdalene focusing on the suffering and loss of the crucifixion. This is ideal for use within a Good Friday service (Approximatelt five minutes).

· ‘He’s Alive’ – An Easter Sunday monologue from the disciple John, who is reeling from the impact of Jesus truly being ‘the Resurrection and the Life.’ This serves as a reminder and encouragement of the transforming power of eternal life, ideal for an Easter Sunday service (Approximately five minutes).

· ‘Jerusalem Live’ – An all-age sketch for children and families, re-living the Easter story in a fun and inclusive way. In this ‘news room’ style sketch, meet the clumsy tomb guards, the frantic disciples and the first eye-witness to the resurrection. Perfect content for your Sunday School or Family Service (Approximately 9 minutes).

A short promotional taster Video, with some exclusive clips from the new digital Easter Resources can be found HERE. Saltmine suggests a minimum donation of £75 for one resource and a minimum donation of £200 for the ‘Easter Bundle’ of all three resources. Find out more HERE, or e-mail creative@saltmine.org.
