Jericho rebrands for the future

The Jericho Foundation is rebranding and will in future be known simply as ‘Jericho.’ The rebrand has been undertaken to reflect the changes that have taken place within the organisation over recent years, changes which have made Jericho one of the UK’s most innovative, successful and effective social enterprise charities.

Established in 1993 and built on Christian values, Jericho actively supports marginalised people to find employment and personal fulfilment. Jericho works directly with young people, people who have been in prison, those who have experienced homelessness, whose lives are affected by health or disability, survivors of modern slavery and people with complex, intersecting needs. Jericho helps its beneficiaries become fulfilled, skilled and employed.

To achieve its vision, Jericho operates a number of not-for-profit social enterprises offering great products and services with added benefit. Customers who choose to buy into Jericho’s enterprises support life-changing job opportunities for people who need them most. Jericho runs a number of projects to support people to find employment within community settings. These include ‘ChangeKitchen,’ Miracle Laundry, Jericho Construction, Jericho Cleaning, Jericho ReUsers and Jericho Wood Shack. Through these and similar enterprises, Jericho has directly supported over 8,000 individuals in finding sustainable employment and economic independence.

Jericho’s rebrand marks the next stage of its journey, in which it plans to up-scale and replicate its most impactful social businesses and grow its family through a franchise or partnership model. Jericho will nurture existing partnerships and develop new relationships at a local, regional and national level to create a wider impact beyond that of the lives of the individuals it supports. To express the vision, Jericho’s new strapline will be ‘Breaking Barriers, Changing Lives.’
